"Spectacular" Blur

The subject " Blur "suggested I could shoot something that helps us get rid of it ...

Camera: Fuji FinePix S 9600
Lens: 28-300mm

ISO: 200

Focal Length: 9mm

Aperture: f/4

Exposure time: 0.1sec

  1. I like the idea...which leads me to wonder, do you need a good idea to make a good picture?

  2. Very nice idea. I love it more because it has a hint of KF beer.

    Few things I would change:
    1. Little more light
    2. Crop the blur in the front of the picture

Having said that, I am still searching for ideas :)

  3. Very clever idea, Raghu, I love the composition. Did u borrow Manoj's glasses for this picture? :-)

Why is Vijay Mallya involved in the Formula One circuit?

  4. KF is irresistable to notice even when it is blur :-)

Dr.Mallaya owns a F1 team if you guys dint know !!

When we talk about blur .. Manoj without the specs can be a subject himself !!

  5. Very nice idea!

I find the TV in the right-top corner distracting. Would have been OK if it were turned off. And you could have tried to avoid the shadow of the glasses too.

  6. BTW, I also like the fact that you captured blur in a stationary object. Most of us would relate to blur as a way of capturing movement.

  7. I agree with P.. may be you can crop out the TV..

and you did use another lens in addition to the one that was on the camera :-)

  8. ..good idea. I also was playing on movement for the blur. But, the newspaper works well. There is also some 'unintentional' blur here.....the depth of the TV in the background, for example.

It would be interesting to see how larger font would have been 'blurred' through the glasses...too. if you look to the side and see the print through the naked eye...almost appears blurred, too..

  9. Frankly I think I observed the snap more after you guys commented... there is a fading blur in teh snaps which I had nto noticed.. the way the words blur at different intensity..

Could not avoid the shadow as I was using artificial light... but yes TV could have been avoided !!
