Manual Focus
I spent a couple of hours today to try out new stuff with my camera. After spending a good part of it on playing with AEB to blend a picture I wasn't satisfied with the results. So, I switched to trying out manual focus which I have never really used in my camera.
So, this picture was shot with the sun in the background while focusing on the leaf blades. I tried a few shots & decided on this picture because of the circular halo in the middle, although unintentional it still doesn't hurt :)

Nice!
ReplyDeleteCoould you have framed it more to the right?
Nice capture, Dumma.
ReplyDeleteooh. i really like this picture. kinda makes me want to go for a run :) i agree with preethi, though - it might have worked even better if it were framed a bit more to the right.
ReplyDeletelovely shot dumma.. brilliant.. u didn't even use a tripod and you did pretty much everything right with this shot.. brilliant framing, even parts that are out of focus belong to the image.. only bitching i will do is about the right top corner.. why is it darker than it should be ?? did you increase the contrast during PP ?? this one surely deserves to be printed and framed...
ReplyDeleteand by the way.. it is s"h"eshu :) its been 12-13 years and you still spell it wrong ;-)
sorry Seshu :)
ReplyDelete....liking the circular halo. Shooting in pure M mode can be tough, huh. This picture makes me imagine a crisp morning walk with a nice morning dew.....but, since there is no dew...can we assume it's evening?
